Close Encounters

All worship, all the time! Students gain the confidence to play events, specials and services for local churches.

New Encounters

Designed for 7-12-year olds, this band offers a comfortable, structured setting for gaining real-world band experience! The goal is to prepare short sets of songs for performance at community events and Music Encounters showcases.

Cool Encounters

Teens 13-18 are encouraged to join this band to level up to longer set lists and more responsibilities! The intention is that it prepares them for longer performances, and they learn some basic PA setup and sound check techniques.

Pro Encounters

Teens can level up to more difficult music and arrangements, while learning basic PA setup and sound check techniques. The end goal is to set up a PA and perform a long set of high-quality music.

Re–Encounters

Who said kids have to have all the fun? This band is for players who used to play in a band for fun. We’ll help you build a short set list of well-rehearsed songs for Music Encounters showcase nights.

Dream Encounters

Stop dreaming and start doing. This band is ideal for players looking to gain the real-world experience of being in a working band! We train students to build and modify a set list, get gigs and set up a PA.

WHY BANDS?

Take your musical pursuits to the next level by playing in one of our bands. This is the perfect opportunity to hone your style and accelerate your musical journey. Its lessons meet application at its best! Our instructors empower you to take your skill and apply it to the real world. Plus, you’ll benefit from the spirit of friendship and achievement that comes from playing with and around people with similar goals. Let us help you get started today!

WHAT ABOUT YOUR CURRENT LESSONS?

Playing in a band has its place, but it’s not always the end-all-be-all for a musician. Continuing with private lessons will help you sharpen your skills so that you can put your best foot forward in a group setting. You can simultaneously work on your own individual goals while pursuing gigs. Your instructor can help you work through any challenges and frustrations so you can show up more confidently as a band member. Let us help you get better faster!

Teaching through mentorship

Although we want you to develop musically, what’s most important to us is that you become the very best versions of yourself. We do this by walking side by side with you. We want you to figure out who you want to be, and where you want to take this journey while you’re here with us.

We open our doors to everyone – from the retired person finally taking the time to learn that instrument they’ve always want to learn, to the child struggling to focus in school.

One thing’s for certain: We’ve got something special and we know once you walk through our doors you’ll agree.

All ages

We welcome and encourage students of all generations, because we know that age doesn’t define your ability to learn music. Whether you’re seeking lessons for your child, or recently retired and ready to learn that instrument you’ve always wanted to play, we truly believe that there’s never a wrong time to start your musical journey. It’s all about desire!

Solo Lessons

Solo lessons allow you to learn at a rate you’re comfortable with, and provide you with in-depth knowledge on the different genres of music. This means that your interests drive your experience and development of your skillset. By working with you one-on-one, your instructor can help you set and reach your personal goals.

Group lessons

Group lessons are fun and inspiring – a place to share passions, ideas, and make new friends. With group lessons, you submerge yourself in a collaborative, team-like environment where learning comes not just from instructors but from your peers as well.

Music Discovery

Strings, voice, rhythm… there are many ways to create beautiful sound. If you have a desire to learn music but are not sure which instrument is right for you, our Music Discovery sessions can help. We work alongside you or your child so that you can find the right path for your musical journey.

Need more info about what we teach? You can always do a musical discovery to learn the right instrument for you, or see all of our instrument options.
